Welcome to the town hall. This is the office of the Mayoress. There are old paintings on the wall and a statue in the corner. There is a chandelier hanging from the ceiling. There is a huge window with heavy purple curtains.
The Mayoress is sitting behind her desk. She is wearing a large hat, a chain of office and a red cloak. She has a computer on her desk and three flags: a UK flag, a European Union flag and a United Nations flag.
The Mayoress explains that there are several things to do in the town hall. You can read an overview of what happens in town halls across the UK. There is a slideshow of images and there is a Kids' Rights activity.
